Mill Lodge Retreat is situated in the heart of Essex, in a rural village called Ingatestone. Within the 6 acre grounds lies a feature-packed 3.8 acre specimen carp lake, complete with luxury accommodation!
The lake contains over 323 fish, with carp weighing in at up to 40 lb. Amongst the stock, you’ll get the chance to fish for two 40 pound fish, thirteen 30 pound fish, over one hundred fish weighing in at 20-30 pounds, and a remaining stock weighing somewhere between 10 and 19 pounds.
There’s no need to bring a bivvy or bedchair when you fish at Mill Lodge Retreat, as there are 9 luxury glamping pods right next to the lake. There’s even a treehouse nestled in the tree canopy at the rear of the retreat, boasting amazing views of the entire lake and beautiful Essex countryside.
Each pod is equipped with a 32-inch smart TV, streaming services, a mini bar, a PlayStation 4, Wi-Fi and a fitted cupboard with clothes rail and shelf. You also benefit from both a comfy pine bunk bed and a double bed matched with a mattress topper and Egyptian cotton sheets. Every one of the pods also comes with a hot tub and fire pit.
The pods are fully insulated, keeping them cool during warm summer days and cosy during the winter evenings, providing the perfect balance for all seasons glamping and fishing. Outside each pod offers a relaxing decking area with table and chairs to enjoy al-fresco evenings with exclusive access to the lakeside.
Shower and bathroom facilities are available near reception, and there is a bait and tackle shop at the entrance of the lake if you need to stock up during your session.
There’s also no need to bring your carp barrow, as golf buggies are available to escort all your gear to your pod.

You will be randomly allocated your ticket number(s) when ordering and you will receive an email confirmation.

If all tickets do not sell out, the draw will happen on November 26, 2023 regardless.
